Items
Am I limited to what I see in your shop?
Absolutely not! Custom orders are something I enjoy the most. If you don't see something ready made in the shop that you love, I would love to create something for you. Visit my product catalogue page to see what sizes I offer, then send me a message with some themes/colours you like and I'd be happy to order something in for you.
How long does a custom order take?
This depends on if I have the materials on hand or not. If I do, I can generally complete a custom item within 1-2 weeks (usually sooner). If I have to order your chosen materials in, it may be an additional two weeks as I have to wait for them to arrive.
Do custom orders cost more?
Not at all! The prices will remain the same as my in stock items unless you are requesting a different size or quantity than is listed.
Do you offer wholesale discounts?
Yes! Please contact me with more information about your request. I start offering wholesale discounts with quantities of 25+ of an item.
Payments
How can I pay?
I use PayPal as my payment processor, and so can accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance.
For Canadian customers I have the option of choosing 'check/money order' upon checkout after which they can pay by e-transfer or credit card through Square.
Is your site secure?
Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. I never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells me that you've paid and I get your money through PayPal later.
Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy?
No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account.
Shipping
Where Do You Ship From?
I work from a home based studio located outside of the GTA, ON in Canada.
How long will my order take to arrive?
I find on average, orders take 1-3 weeks to arrive to Canadian destinations, 2-5 weeks to arrive to US destinations and 2-8 weeks to arrive to International destinations. If you're concerned about arrival time and would like a quote for quicker shipping, please contact me.
Does my package come with a tracking number?
My standard packages do not come with a tracking number to keep shipping costs as reasonable as possible. I have found Canada Post to be very reliable with few problems in the many years I've been in business. If you need your order within a set amount of time, send me a message and I can give you an idea of xpress options that will come with tracking.
The shipping on my order seemed to be really high...does it really cost that much?
Maybe not...it depends on what items you've ordered and where they're being shipped to. This shopping cart platform works by starting with a base shipping price and then adding a second price for each item. So many smaller items may end up with a higher shipping price than a few bigger items. I have to account for this to make sure my costs are covered. Be assured though, that if what I pay to send your order is much less than what you paid, I will refund the difference (minus an amount for packaging). Also, shipping to international locations can be considerably more expensive.
Duties/Tariffs/Extra Charges
In general, when buying from outside of Canada, orders may have additional fees
charged depending on the import taxes, customs, duties and/or tariffs of the
destination country. If charged, payment of those taxes, customs, duties and/or tariffs is the responsibility of the customer. By placing an order, all customers outside Canada accept the risk that any fees, taxes, duties, and/or tariffs may be charged at the border and agree to be responsible for that payment.
